floyd FowlerSeptember 25, 2026Our Lake Norman well water looked and tasted fine but had been causing ugly brown stains in all our toilets, and the weekly scrubbing was time-consuming and very frustrating. We had added four filters at the well to get out the fine black sand and other particles but still could not eliminate the staining problem. A neighbor had a water treatment system installed by North Carolina Water Consultants some years back and has been very satisfied with the results. After first getting a water test and treatment quote from another contractor, we called North Carolina Water Consultants. Eddie, the owner, came out to test our water and propose solutions. One look at a stained toilet and tank and he said we had an iron/manganese problem. His on-site testing confirmed this as well as other water related issues. Eddie proposed a system comprised of ion exchange, ultraviolet, reverse osmosis and sediment filters as well as completely sanitizing our entire existing plumbing system. We agreed on a system equipment location and two days later a crew of six technicians showed up for the install. These guys were awesome- clean, respectful, efficient and very knowledgeable. By early afternoon our installation was complete, and we were ready to enjoy pure, clean water without the constant staining in the toilets. Needless to say, we will definitely recommend North Carolina Water consultants to anyone in need of better water!Posted on Google

They were back out to put in system within 4 days and had everything installed to fix our nasty water within 1 day, including cleanup. Now we no longer have rusty looking, smelly water. We had a great experience with North Carolina Water Consultants. They did a very through testing procedure on our water and clearly explained the results. We were impressed on how they customized our solution to meet the exact needs or our water results. We chose a whole house filtration system that also included RO and UV filters. The installation process went was professional and went very smoothly. I made the request to have the RO system installed somewhere other than under the sink so I could save storage space. They got it all set up in the garage with the rest of the equipment. We got the water softener system as well as the reverse osmosis installed for our house. The initial consultation with the owner Eddie was great as he tested the water and demonstrated to us all the contaminants that were present. He also showed us what the levels would would like after the water softening process and for the reverse osmosis filter. All our questions were answered. The installation went quickly and smoothly for us. The installers were very professional and did a nice clean job of installing the system and answering all the questions. They followed up with a visit and tested the water to make sure everything was in order.
